Major Pain

Lately I've been wondering what I want to do with my life and what I want to do for a career. I've been thinking about Music. I can't decide if I want to Major in Music or something else. I have been kind of wanting to audition for different Orchestras or groups to get paid to play music, but as I have been playing with the local Orchestra I've been hating having to learn to play hard music in such a short time. It's a pain to me. I like playing but hard music frustrates me very easily. I had a tutor but she was getting too expensive every month. I'm starting to think I should look into something else. Music is definitely fun and it calms me when I play but it's hard. I'm also telling myself I should suck it up and just play whatever my conductor needs me to. Get over how hard it is and just learn it. I don't know. Music Therapy sounds pretty awesome too. It's where I teach music to people who are trying to re-learn to walk, talk, write, talk etc. after being in an accident or where born with something that is keeping them from learning all of that. I've always wondered what that would be like.

I'm still pondering. Comments with your opinions would be nice. Thanks!

The Mighty Boosh

Today I went to Hollywood with Jessica, Dotty, Brianna, Carrie and Tamara to go and see the cast of The Mighty Boosh tv show. We almost didn't go to their signing session but decided to at the last moment. We were very glad we did. We were far away from the stage but were still able to see Howard's mustache and Noel's sexy pancho he stole from a sleeping Mexican lady in Mexico (He couldn't remember where he'd gotten it so he made something up) and his shiney silver knee high boots. We ended up not being able to go to their dance party after their signing because the first 100 people who waited in line since 1pm earlier got wristbands that allowed them to go in. We still had a blast just being able to see them for an hour in the Ameoba Music Store.

I'm definitly going to be watching the rest of their series other than the Old Greg episode.

BTW We got interviewed by some MySpace lady. At least we think she's from MySpace. Or Adult Swim. We weren't sure. Well if you see me and my friends on a program and we're talking about The Mighty Boosh let me know!

In This Economy

It really sucks trying to get a job right now. I have had two interviews and they both insist on not calling me back. I call them several times and they can't even call me back to tell me I didn't get the job. If they'd just call me back and tell me I didn't get it I'd be fine with it. It's the fact that they don't want to call me back is what is frustrating. I've even gone in person to one of them to see how my application is coming along and he couldn't even come out of his office. He just told the front desk guy to tell me he wasn't done looking at all the applications. Keep in mind his office was down the hallway. Lame right? I blame this economy.....rawr.

Well, this post is short I know. But it's just something on my mind and I thought I'd share.

"This is my title"

I need to realize something. What I say on here and who I refer to should be careful, nice, fun and awesome. There have been a couple posts that are definitely questionable. (Which I have deleted along with the comments) I was approached and confronted about them. Well, I just want to say I'm sorry. I've been getting really frustrated because I'm looking for a job, I am always having to borrow the car when there's two I can use just fine but one of them is shiny and unusable because I "don't have enough experience" to drive it. I just don't think it's fair. Can I at least try it out in an empty parking lot? I have my license now..... :) <----Big cheesy smile I know my comments haven't been nice either and I'll stop them.

Now onto something AWESOME!!!!
Ok so I saw Star Trek with Brianna, Jessica and Roxanne. Besides the creepy old, fat Trekkie standing behind us in line talking to us and then following us and sitting behind us in the theater. And as I was sitting down after coming back from the bathroom before the show started I found out that a rather large man has sat right in front of me and all I can see is his large head in the dead center of the screen. Other than those things, I looooove loove loooooooooooved the movie and the commentary afterwards was awesome!!! Ex: WHO PUT TYLER PERRY IN STAR TREK?!?! Things like that added the extra sprinkles to my already awesome Zachary Quinto Star Trek Awesome Sundae.

If you haven't already seen the new Star Trek movie, I HIGHLY suggest it. It's way awesome. And Zachary Quinto is way hot!

Star Trek-Wars

Ok so this is a rant about how I like Star Trek and Star Wars EQUALLY! I know certain people that follow me are going to attack the comment section but I don't care.

At first, when I was younger, I had received the original Star Wars movies on tape. I couldn't stop watching them! I loved the characters and the qwerky types of humor that came with each. The phrases and forms of weaponry, transportation and fashion sense intregued me. I had heard about Star Trek but thought it was weird. Who the heck was Kirk and Spock and what's with that hand gesture? Why is it so "cool" to show it to people? I don't think I like Star Trek. It's dumb.

THEN, about a month ago I heard about the movie coming out with new actors and such. There's a guy from Lord of the Rings in it, there's Simon Pegg from Shawn of the Dead and The Fuzz in it too. Dude, there's even that hottie from The Princess Diaries 2 in it. He's playing Captain Kirk? Hmm. I'd better start looking at a few episodes to see what the original show was like before I go see it. Well, a few episodes later, I'm hooked. I can't seem to stop watching Star Trek. I'm even contemplating buying all three seasons on dvd if I can find it somewhere. I am starting to morph into a Trekkie!!! The one type of human being that I had never seen myself turning into. Like the same with Star Wars, everything has intregued me.

Well, tomorrow I'm going to see the movie at the $3 theater. If anyone would like to join me let me know! ( Sorry Tamara. You're in Ohio)

BTW Tomorrow I also have another job interview. It's for Kohls this time. Wish me Luck!
May you Live Long and Prosper
